One job done completely: the two parts that fail together plus the coolant, hoses and O rings, which is the sensible middle between replacing one plastic part and overhauling the lot.

We are an independent parts supplier. We are not BMW AG or MINI, we are not appointed by them, and BMW and MINI are their trademarks. What we sell are parts that fit those cars, described as such. • Engine: chosen above where the kit is engine specific. These cars change mid production, sometimes twice in a model year, and two cars built four months apart can take different parts. Send us the last seven digits of your VIN with the order and we check the part against the build record before anything is dispatched. It takes us two minutes and it is the difference between a part that fits and a return.
• Production dates: 2004 to 2022 depending on chassis
• Quality: made by the firm that supplies the vehicle manufacturer, in that firm's own box rather than a dealer box. Identical part, identical line, no dealer margin, and this is what we would fit ourselves. Every part in the kit is the same tier, which matters more than the tier itself: a kit mixing an OE pump with a budget thermostat fails at the budget part
• Part number: cross referenced to the original equipment number for your VIN and confirmed before dispatch. We do not publish a single number against a listing that covers several build variants, because that is how people order the wrong part
• The failure this addresses: one named job, done completely, rather than the part that was cheapest to diagnose. The kit contents are chosen from what actually gets disturbed
• Labour time: two to six hours depending on the kit, and the figure for yours is on this page rather than in a labour guide you cannot see

Two to six hours. Everything the job disturbs is in the box, which is the point: the commonest reason one of these jobs takes a weekend instead of an afternoon is a missing O ring on a Sunday.

Which version to buy

This page is the middle of the shop and it is where most cars actually belong. Below it are individual parts, which are right when you know exactly what has failed.
